Not that long ago, I was searching for a home care solution for my 88-year-old parents who refused to leave the family farm. My father had mobility issues due to back surgery and my mother is living with dementia. Having spent much of my life working with home care agencies and residential facilities, I’ve observed all levels of care. Along the way, I met Laura and Beth, two extraordinary caregivers I’ll never forget. They treated clients like family. Both truly loved people and wanted to make a difference in their lives. I knew I needed someone like Laura and Beth to care for my own parents. As soon as I connected with the Amarillo Heroes Homecare family, I knew I’d found the right people. Compassionate and devoted, their sole purpose was to make sure my parents received high-quality care delivered with empathy and dignity. I was especially reassured by their focus on providing care in a holistic way, addressing every part of seniors’ well-being, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These amazing people touched me so deeply that I knew I had to stay connected with their goodness and compassion. The end result: I left behind my corporate career and I am now blessed to be the owner of Amarillo Heroes Homecare.
